Google Cloud is seeking a Technical Program Manager to join their Global Network Delivery team, focusing on DCNet Delivery. This role is crucial in managing and optimizing network infrastructure capacity delivery programs. As a TPM, you'll be responsible for solving complex technical challenges related to network port capacity, physical cabling installation, and equipment capacity while coordinating with cross-functional teams and external vendors.

The position requires a blend of technical expertise and program management skills, with a focus on data center and network infrastructure. Responsibilities For Technical Program Manager, Global Network Delivery, DCNet Delivery

  • Manage network infrastructure capacity delivery programs
  • Solve technical issues revolving around network port capacity, physical cabling installation, network equipment capacity, project scheduling, and logistics
  • Bring technical experts together to communicate and help develop solutions
  • Manage and nurture relationships between cross-functional teams, including external parties/vendors
  • Identify process and communications breakdowns, while developing and driving solutions to remedy the issues

Requirements For Technical Program Manager, Global Network Delivery, DCNet Delivery

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience
  • 2 years of experience in program management
  • Experience with process improvement in the telecom or data center infrastructure space
  • Experience with data center, networking, or telecom operations (preferred)
  • Experience working in organizational settings (preferred)
  • Experience in Network, Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical, or other Engineering related field (preferred)
  • Experience in co-location and large scale data center operations (preferred)
  • Excellent investigative, quantitative, presentation, and problem-solving skills (preferred)
