You'll need to travel approximately 25% of the time to Google's global data centers.

The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in a technical field and strong experience in infrastructure project management. Preferred qualifications include certifications like RCDD or PMP, experience in building construction management, and professional engineering designations. You'll need excellent analytical skills and the ability to create detailed technical documentation.

Responsibilities For Technical Program Manager, Global Network Infrastructure

  • Review and understand Google network architecture standards, partner cross-functionally to ensure all designs and implementations balance the requirements
  • Evaluate alternatives and develop cost estimates for project-specific feasibility studies, create standards and templates to streamline build processes
  • Create design drawings and documents for network infrastructure and optical cabling for both ISP and OSP
  • Communicate with partners to collect drivers and deadlines for delivering network capacity

Requirements For Technical Program Manager, Global Network Infrastructure

Linux
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience
  • 5 years of experience in program management
  • 5 years of experience designing, constructing, or managing infrastructure projects
  • Experience creating infrastructure designs (telecom, electrical, mechanical), drawing sets for builds, and remodels of data center networking spaces
  • Travel approximately 25% of the time to Google's Data Centers around the globe
