Technical Program Manager, Governance, Risk, and Compliance, Data Security

Google is seeking a Technical Program Manager to lead their Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) initiatives for the Data Center Data Security team. This role is crucial in managing security programs that impact operations across Google's global fleet of data centers. The role involves working in a complex operational environment, where you'll be responsible for planning and monitoring the execution of security capabilities and controls. The position requires strong leadership skills to manage cross-functional teams and drive strategic initiatives.

As a TPM in this role, you'll be responsible for ensuring strategic alignment, operational excellence, and team development. You'll manage all aspects of governance, risk, and compliance, including direction setting, program planning, delivery assurance, and risk mitigation planning. The role offers competitive compensation including a base salary range of $168,000-$252,000, plus bonus, equity, and comprehensive benefits.

The ideal candidate will have at least 8 years of technical program management experience, with strong expertise in security frameworks like NIST and ISO 27001. You'll need excellent communication skills and the ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships across different locations and time zones.
