Description For Technical Program Manager, Hardware Integration

Google Cloud is seeking a Technical Program Manager for Hardware Integration to lead complex, multi-disciplinary engineering projects. This role combines technical expertise with program management to drive critical infrastructure initiatives across Google's data center operations. The ideal candidate will manage projects throughout their lifecycle, from requirements planning to execution, while coordinating with various stakeholders including Fleet Management, operations teams, and executives.

The position requires strong leadership in managing Global Server Operations for NPIs across different data center types, including YAWN, Jenga, Minicluster, Edge, and Standalone facilities. The role involves significant cross-functional collaboration, process improvement, and technical decision-making. You'll be responsible for driving internal awareness, managing stakeholder relationships, and ensuring successful implementation of infrastructure solutions.

As part of Google Cloud, you'll contribute to the organization's mission of accelerating digital transformation across industries. Responsibilities For Technical Program Manager, Hardware Integration

  • Act as a single-threaded Point of Contact (POC) for all aspects of the larger Global Server Operations for NPIs
  • Drive internal awareness, engaging Fleet Management functional partners and representing Fleet Management/Operations sign-off
  • Work with customer technical leads, executives, and partners to manage and deliver infrastructure solutions
  • Work with partner teams, operations managers, and data center technicians to execute existing processes and improve efficiencies
  • Become a trusted expert in data center infrastructure solutions and provide operational and technical advice

Requirements For Technical Program Manager, Hardware Integration

Linux

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 5 years of experience in program management
  • Experience working with operations management
  • Experience in Data Center operations
  • Experience with cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management
  • Experience working within a complex organizational setting
  • Experience with YAWN or third-party data center turn ups and maintenance
  • Ability to present materials to a range of partners on both technical and non-technical matters
