Description For Technical Program Manager III

As a Technical Program Manager at Google Public Sector, you will use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You'll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You'll draw on your customer-facing skills and technical acumen to operate as both the go-to-market lead and the program-level delivery expert. You will interface with customers alongside Go To Market teams to craft and deliver a services strategy that aligns Google technology with customer missions. In your day-to-day work, you will partner closely with account teams and other cross-functional teams to support pre-sales efforts and pitch to key customer stakeholders, resulting in the timely development and presentation of a viable services strategy. This role requires an active US Government Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmentalized Information (TS/SCI) security clearance with Polygraph.

Responsibilities For Technical Program Manager III

  • Lead the full business cycle for complex professional services engagements and value based initiatives
  • Make recommendations on integration strategies, enterprise architectures, platforms, and application infrastructure required to implement a complete solution
  • Define the scope of projects and develop, execute, or manage project plans for supported programs and build/write SOW's or RFx's
  • Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to understand or identify defined work problems and program goals, obtain prioritized deliverables, and discuss program impact
  • Review key metrics pertaining to a program, monitor potential metric deviations, and define corrective actions for critical deviations

Requirements For Technical Program Manager III

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience
  • 5 years of experience in program management in technology consulting, or similar in the federal government space
  • 5 years of experience advising enterprise or government customers in cloud solutions architecture, technical project management, stakeholder management, professional services, or technical consulting
  • Active US Government Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmentalized Information (TS/SCI) security clearance with Polygraph
