Description For Technical Program Manager III

Google is seeking a Technical Program Manager III to join their Public Sector team. This role requires a blend of customer-facing skills and technical acumen to operate as both the go-to-market lead and program-level delivery expert. The ideal candidate will interface with customers alongside Go-To-Market teams to craft and deliver services strategies that align Google technology with customer missions.

Key responsibilities include leading complex professional services engagements, making recommendations on integration strategies and enterprise architectures, defining project scopes, and collaborating with stakeholders to achieve program goals. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in a technical field (or equivalent experience) and 5 years of experience in technology consulting within the Federal Civilian government space.

Responsibilities For Technical Program Manager III

  • Lead the full business cycle for complex professional services engagements and value based initiatives (including but not limited to business development, Google differentiators, and presenting to C-level executives).
  • Make recommendations on integration strategies, enterprise architectures, platforms, and application infrastructure required to implement a complete solution.
  • Define the scope of projects and develop, execute, and/or manage project plans for supported program(s).
  • Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to understand or identify defined work problems and program goals, obtain prioritized deliverables, and discuss program impact.
  • Review key metrics pertaining to a program, monitor potential metric deviations, and define corrective actions for critical deviations.

Requirements For Technical Program Manager III

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in technology consulting, or similar in the Federal Civilian government space.
  • Must be a US Citizen to meet customer and compliance requirements, including potential access to classified information.
