Google's Pixel team is seeking a Technical Program Manager III to lead the software development lifecycle for Pixel phones and tablets. This role combines technical expertise with program management to deliver world-class mobile experiences. The position involves managing complex, global projects with fixed schedules culminating in annual Made by Google events.

As a TPM, you'll be responsible for tracking overall Software development from concept to launch, including planning, managing software and hardware PDP gates, and collaborating across multiple teams including Hardware, gChips, Software, Carrier, Testing, and Operations. The role requires both technical depth and strong execution skills to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products.

Responsibilities For Technical Program Manager III, Embedded, Pixel

  • Deliver successful phone launches by owning and driving the overall software schedule from concept, pre-silicon to ship
  • Track progress, resolve dependencies, evaluate risks and communicate status to upper management and project stakeholders
  • Be an advocate of Pixel software quality and measure/track software launch readiness across many dimensions
  • Drive program-wide process improvements to enhance scalability and repeatability of Pixel new product development

Requirements For Technical Program Manager III, Embedded, Pixel

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience
  • 5 years of experience in program management
  • Experience with mobile software development
  • Experience with hardware/software programs, or System on a Chip (SoC)/embedded chip bring up
