Google is seeking a Technical Program Manager III to join their Generative AI team for Chrome Browser. This role sits at the intersection of cutting-edge AI technology and one of the world's most widely-used web browsers. The position involves leading Chrome's on-device GenAI stack and web platform AI APIs across multiple platforms including Windows, Mac, Android, iOS, ChromeOS, and Linux.

The ideal candidate will bring together technical expertise with strong program management skills to shepherd complex projects from conception to launch. You'll work closely with Chrome Engineering, Product Management, and UX teams to integrate Generative AI capabilities into Chrome, fundamentally reimagining what a browser can be.

  • Lead cross-functional teams of engineers, product managers, and UX designers/researchers in executing projects and programs from concept to launch
  • Design and deploy processes and tools to improve the pace of engineering teams, and the quality of product launches
  • Provide program management leadership for the portfolio of Generative AI (GenAI) priorities
  • Deliver transparency to keep core team members aligned, and stakeholders informed
  • Leverage an understanding of GenAI feature development to identify and build new operational improvements and processes

Requirements For Technical Program Manager III, Generative AI, Chrome Browser

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience
  • 5 years of experience in program management
  • Experience managing programs across the full software development lifecycle or working with software engineering teams on Generative AI programs
  • 5 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects
