Google's Augmented Reality Team is seeking a Technical Program Manager III to lead complex hardware and software programs for AR glasses development. This role combines technical expertise with program management to drive innovative XR devices. The position involves working with cross-functional teams, managing stakeholders, and ensuring successful delivery of AR hardware projects. The ideal candidate will have strong technical background and program management experience, capable of bridging hardware and software domains. Responsibilities For Technical Program Manager III, Hardware, Augmented Reality Glasses
- Partner with Product Management and Engineering team members to develop, own, and execute the Augmented Reality Glasses programs
- Engage with Tech Leads and Engineers on both long-term development work and day to day activities
- Work with the program leads to drive the interactions with all external partners associated with the program
- Maintain periodic communication to broader team and leadership on the overall health of the program
- Have complete ownership of the program's schedules and track dependencies and deliverables through its entire life cycle
Requirements For Technical Program Manager III, Hardware, Augmented Reality Glasses
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience
- 5 years of experience in program management
- Experience working with both hardware and software programs
- Experience with program management tools like Smartsheets, TaskFlow, or other technical tools
- Experience writing scripts
- Experience working with internal and external partners
