Technical Program Manager III, Mobile Networks, Google Fi

Google is seeking a Technical Program Manager III to join their Mobile Networks team for Google Fi. This role combines technical leadership with program management expertise to drive complex, multi-disciplinary engineering projects. The position requires managing cross-functional initiatives, partnerships, and technical programs throughout the entire product lifecycle.

The role involves leading technical projects and scaling processes covering design documents, project plans, releases, and post-mortems. You'll work closely with the Google Fi program, facilitating collaboration between cross-functional teams. The position demands someone who can effectively communicate with both executives and engineers, managing project schedules, identifying risks, and driving technical directions.

As part of the Mobile team, you'll contribute to Google's mission of making information accessible across all devices. The team works on Android ecosystem development, digital content markets, and managing relationships with a global developer community. The role offers competitive compensation including a base salary range of $156,000-$229,000, plus bonus, equity, and comprehensive benefits.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of program management experience, particularly in telecommunications or networking projects. Experience with Android, iOS App, or platform development is preferred, along with software release and launch readiness expertise. This position requires strong technical understanding, leadership capabilities, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders effectively.
