Description For Technical Program Manager III, Security Engineering, Google Cloud

Google Cloud Threat Intelligence enables Cloud Security Products to identify and detect threats ahead of the curve. The team detects security issues and threats by correlating and merging security telemetry with knowledge of global threats in real-time.

As a Technical Program Manager III for Security Engineering at Google Cloud, you will:

  • Own the status of releases and programs, transforming ambiguous requirements into clear goals and objectives.
  • Drive product development life-cycle including concept/initiation, planning, execution, product release and post launch customer support in a fast-paced environment.
  • Define, deploy, drive and refine project infrastructure which optimizes team performance.
  • Manage project schedules, dependencies and risks, anticipate and mitigate execution issues, and communicate them to executives and other project stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate cross-functional leadership to take products to market.

You should have a Bachelor's degree in a technical field (or equivalent practical experience), 5 years of experience in program management, and experience with Cloud Security, Security or Software Engineering. Preferred qualifications include 5 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects and experience with threat intelligence.

Google is committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion, aiming to build a workforce that represents its users globally. The US base salary range for this position is $142,000-$211,000 + bonus + equity + benefits, with the specific salary determined by work location and additional factors.
