Google Cloud is seeking a Technical Program Manager III to lead complex, multi-disciplinary engineering projects. This role combines technical expertise with project management to drive successful program outcomes in cloud computing. As a TPM at Google, you'll be responsible for shepherding projects through their entire lifecycle, from requirements planning to final delivery. Responsibilities For Technical Program Manager III, Software Engineering, Google Cloud

  • Provide software development and project management, cross-functional coordination, and inter/intra team communications
  • Work closely with Software Engineers, QA, Product Managers and other engineering teams through the software project lifecycle
  • Manage project schedules, identify possible issues and communicate them to project stakeholders
  • Take responsibility for release schedules and milestones, keeping up a high velocity
  • Lead technical programs for Google Cloud Business, setting priorities for products and engineering

Requirements For Technical Program Manager III, Software Engineering, Google Cloud

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, or equivalent practical experience
  • 5 years of experience in program management
  • 5 years of experience in cloud computing emerging technologies or related technical fields
  • Master's degree, PhD, or equivalent experience in Engineering, Computer Science, or other technical related field (preferred)
  • 5 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects (preferred)
  • 5 years of experience in Software Engineering, Software Infrastructure Engineering, Security, Big Data and Analytics, or Cloud Networking (preferred)
  • Experience working across a distributed, and highly integrated team composed of both technical and non-technical members (preferred)
