Description For Technical Program Manager Lead, Extended Reality

Google's Augmented Reality team is seeking a Technical Program Manager Lead to spearhead their Extended Reality initiatives. This role combines technical leadership with program management expertise, focusing on building foundations for immersive computing and creating helpful user experiences. The position involves leading complex, multi-disciplinary engineering projects, managing both software and hardware initiatives, and working with cross-functional teams to deliver Extended Reality products.

As a TPM Lead, you'll be responsible for the Moohan program, leading first-party apps and experiences while collaborating with other TPM leads to develop strategy and drive programs through ambiguity. You'll work at the intersection of hardware and software, managing cross-functional relationships both internally and with OEM partners.

The role offers competitive compensation ($227,000-$320,000 + bonus + equity + benefits) and the opportunity to work with cutting-edge AR/VR technology. You'll be part of a team making immersive computing accessible to billions through mobile devices, with a scope that continues to grow and evolve.

This position requires a strong technical background combined with exceptional leadership skills, including 10 years of technical program management experience and 7 years in leadership roles. You'll need to be equally comfortable explaining technical analyses to executives and discussing product development trade-offs with engineers.

Join Google's AR team to shape the future of immersive computing while working with industry-leading experts in a collaborative environment that values innovation and technical excellence.
