Responsibilities For Technical Program Manager, Manufacturing Mechanical Engineering
- Develop mechanical assembly processes and equipment at the factory from initial design concept through ramp and serve as a factory mechanical assembly technical lead
- Work with cross-functional teams to develop manufacturing processes to meet product requirements
- Identify, prioritize, and manage key technical changes and risks of Pixel phones
- Drive manufacturing yield improvements, failure analysis, cycle time optimization, line balancing, assembly automation deployment, and product repairability
- Build and manage assembly automation with vision systems to enable high quality production with optimal cost structure
Requirements For Technical Program Manager, Manufacturing Mechanical Engineering
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience
- 2 years of experience in program management
- Experience in both the Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering fields with international OEM partners
- Experience with CAD tools (e.g., ProE, Creo, Solidworks, NX)
- Experience leading consumer electronics and technical project teams
- Ability to speak English fluently
- 3 years of preferred experience in Technical Program Manager, Manufacturing Mechanical Engineering
- Experience working on mobile phone projects
- Experience in operations, managing projects with automation assembly machines with vision systems
- Excellent communication skills and ability to influence decisions
