Responsibilities For Technical Program Manager, WAN Infrastructure and Capacity
- Manage optical transport infrastructure and capacity delivery within and into the APAC region
- Manage the delivery of large-scale network projects from inception through delivery
- Lead cross-functional teams and ensure stakeholders are aware of project status
- Engage with external vendors for outsourced network build services
- Facilitate review and acceptance of vendor handover documentation
- Assist upstream planning, design, and acquisition teams in developing infrastructure requirements
- Engage with engineering staff to determine root causes and solutions
- Present team's analyses, recommendations and approaches to stakeholders and executive management
Requirements For Technical Program Manager, WAN Infrastructure and Capacity
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience
- 2 years of experience in program management
- 2 years of experience in network engineering or related technical roles in the telecommunications or internet industries
- Experience in project managing the deployment of terrestrial or subsea optical network infrastructure engineering
- Ability to multitask and prioritize with excellent organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Data-driven aptitude approach to solving complex issues
