Description For Technical Solutions Engineer, Apigee

Google Cloud Platform team is seeking a Technical Solutions Engineer for Apigee. This role involves managing customer problems, developing knowledge of Google's product technology, acting as a consultant for internal stakeholders, understanding customer issues, and working as part of a global team to ensure 24-hour customer support.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent practical experience. They should have 2 years of experience coding in a general-purpose language and troubleshooting technical issues. Preferred qualifications include experience with cloud computing, web tech, data/big data, systems admin, machine learning, networking, Kubernetes, Oracle, or SAP.

Responsibilities include:

  • Diagnosing and resolving customer issues on Google Cloud Platform products
  • Troubleshooting and determining root causes for customer-reported issues
  • Consulting with internal teams to resolve technical deployment obstacles
  • Advocating for customer needs to improve products and drive quality production
  • Working non-standard hours or shifts as part of a global support team
