Google Cloud Platform is seeking a Technical Solutions Engineer for their Apigee team to play a crucial role in supporting enterprise customers. This position combines technical expertise with customer advocacy, requiring strong problem-solving abilities and cloud computing knowledge. You'll be part of a global team that ensures 24/7 customer support, working with Google's cutting-edge cloud technologies.

The role involves managing and resolving customer issues, developing deep technical knowledge of Google's products, and acting as a bridge between customers and internal teams. Responsibilities For Technical Solutions Engineer, Apigee

  • Manage customer's problems through effective diagnosis, resolution, or implementation of new investigation tools
  • Develop knowledge of Google's product technology and underlying architectures by troubleshooting
  • Act as a consultant and subject matter expert for internal stakeholders
  • Understand customer issues and advocate for their needs with cross-functional teams
  • Work as part of a team of Engineers/Consultants that globally ensure 24 hour customer support

Requirements For Technical Solutions Engineer, Apigee

  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent practical experience
  • 2 years of experience coding in a general purpose coding language (e.g., Java, C, C++, Python, Shell, Go or JavaScript, etc.) or in system design
  • 2 years of experience troubleshooting and advocating for customers needs, and triaging technical issues
  • Experience with cloud computing (preferred)
  • 2 years of experience with two or more of: Web Tech, Data/Big Data, Systems Admin, Machine Learning, Networking, Kubernetes, Oracle, SAP (preferred)
  • 2 years of experience in technical consulting in supporting large enterprise customers (preferred)
