Responsibilities For Technical Solutions Engineer, Google Distributed Cloud (Airgapped)
- Manage customer's problem through effective diagnosis, resolution, or implementation of new investigation tools
- Develop in-depth understanding of Google's product technology and underlying architectures
- Act as a consultant and subject matter expert for internal stakeholders
- Work as part of a team of Engineers/Consultants that globally ensures 24-hour customer support
- Understand customer issues and advocate for their needs with cross-functional teams
Requirements For Technical Solutions Engineer, Google Distributed Cloud (Airgapped)
- 4 years of experience with IaaS solutions (e.g., Kubernetes, system virtualization, on-premise or hybrid cloud computing) and cloud storage solutions
- 4 years of experience with networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, Routing, VPNs, VLANs, Peering, Load Balancing, etc.)
- 4 years of experience debugging/troubleshooting workload issues across multi-node environments
- Ability to communicate in German and English fluently
- Ability to pass enhanced background checks and hold German Citizenship
