Google Cloud is seeking a Technical Solutions Engineer I specializing in AI/ML to join their customer support team. This role combines technical expertise in machine learning with customer advocacy, requiring 4 years of experience in coding and technical troubleshooting. As part of Google Cloud's 24x7 global support team, you'll be responsible for resolving complex technical issues, developing solutions, and ensuring customer success.

The position demands strong technical skills in machine learning technologies (TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch), experience with cloud computing, and proficiency in programming languages like Python, Java, or Go. You'll work with enterprise customers having high service-level requirements, troubleshooting issues related to ML models, data pipelines, and cloud infrastructure.

Responsibilities For Technical Solutions Engineer I, AI/ML

  • File issue reports against product, documentation and procedures by documenting desired behavior or steps to reproduce, and driving bugs to resolution
  • Suggest code-level resolutions for complex product bugs by leveraging relevant tools and effective communication to all stakeholders internally and externally
  • Resolve technical incidents and escalations by performing analysis utilizing relevant tools (e.g., SQL, R, Python)
  • Identify opportunities and build solutions to improve support or empower customers to solve issues by using self-service tools and documentation

Requirements For Technical Solutions Engineer I, AI/ML

  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent practical experience
  • 4 years of experience reading code in a general purpose coding language (e.g., Java, C, C++, Python, Shell, Go or JavaScript, etc.) or in system design
  • 4 years of experience troubleshooting and advocating for customers' needs, and triaging technical issues
  • 4 years of experience with 2 or more of the following: Web Tech, Data/Big Data, Systems Admin, Machine Learning, Networking, Kubernetes, Oracle, SAP
  • Experience developing or training models using machine learning technologies (Tensorflow, Keras, PyTorch, etc.)
  • Experience working with recommendation engines, data pipelines, or distributed machine learning
  • Experience with cloud computing
