Responsibilities For Technical Solutions Engineer, Infrastructure, Google Kubernetes Engine

  • Work with customers on GKE and Anthos deployments to resolve issues
  • Develop in-depth understanding of Google Cloud GKE and Anthos technology
  • Act as consultant and subject matter expert for internal stakeholders
  • Work as part of a global team providing 24-hour customer support
  • Understand customer issues and advocate for their needs with internal teams

Requirements For Technical Solutions Engineer, Infrastructure, Google Kubernetes Engine

Kubernetes
  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent practical experience
  • 4 years of experience coding in a general purpose coding language or in system design
  • 4 years of experience with two or more: Web Tech, Data/Big Data, Systems Admin, Machine Learning, Networking, Kubernetes, Oracle, SAP
  • Fluent English communication skills
  • Experience debugging complex workload issues across large-scale environments
  • Experience with kernel debugging and containerized systems
  • Experience with public cloud services
  • Knowledge of Computer Networking (TCP/IP, Routing, Load balancing)
  • Understanding of basic web technologies (HTTP, HTML, DNS, TCP)
