Google Cloud is seeking a Technical Solutions Engineer to join their Security team in Warsaw. This role combines software development, networking, and systems administration expertise with technical consulting and troubleshooting. As a technical solutions authority, you'll work across customer-facing teams to improve products while ensuring global businesses' success.

The position requires a strong technical background with 4 years of experience in code reading (Python/C#), RDBMS, and SaaS products troubleshooting. You'll be responsible for diagnosing and resolving customer problems, implementing new tools, and acting as a subject-matter expert for various stakeholders.

You'll collaborate with web developers, systems administrators, and various customers while having the opportunity to influence product development through customer advocacy.

Responsibilities For Technical Solutions Engineer, Security, Google Cloud

  • Diagnose and resolve customer problems, design and implement new operations, productivity and investigation tools
  • Act as a consultant and subject-matter-expert for stakeholders
  • Obtain and maintain an understanding of Google's product technology and software architectures
  • Work with multiple product and engineering teams on understanding ways to improve the product
  • Advocate for customers by representing their issues to Product Management and Software Engineering

Requirements For Technical Solutions Engineer, Security, Google Cloud

Python
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
  • 4 years of experience reading code (Python or C#)
  • 4 years of experience with Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS)
  • 4 years of experience triaging SaaS products, related technologies (Pantheon, Kibana, Datadog, Grafana), and REST API's
  • 4 years of experience troubleshooting and advocating for customers' needs
  • Ability to work non-standard working hours, including weekends, as needed
