Description For Test Engineering Team Lead

In this role as a Test Engineering Team Lead for Google Cloud, you'll work to shape the future of AI/ML hardware acceleration, focusing on cutting-edge TPU (Tensor Processing Unit) technology. You'll lead a team responsible for ATE test program development and characterization for NPI and pass to High Volume Manufacturing. Your responsibilities include driving test development projects, developing strategies for SoC Product NPI, and providing support for production. You'll be part of the Technical Infrastructure team, contributing to the innovation behind products used by millions worldwide. This position offers a chance to leverage your design and verification expertise to verify complex digital designs, with a specific focus on TPU architecture and its integration within AI/ML-driven systems.

Key Responsibilities: • Lead the team responsible for ATE test program development and characterization • Drive test development projects, including DFT structural tests and IP-level tests • Develop and execute strategies for SoC Product NPI, bring-up, verification, and qualification • Provide support for production, including test program upgrades and yield improvement

Required Qualifications: • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field • 8 years of experience in test engineering or product engineering • Experience with Advantest equipment for HPC products • Leadership experience in managing people or projects

Preferred Qualifications: • 10 years of experience in test engineering • Expertise in various test development and characterization techniques • Experience with IP Testing and characterization for various protocols • Scripting skills in Python, Perl, etc. • Familiarity with ATE equipment like Teradyne UltraFlex

Responsibilities For Test Engineering Team Lead

  • Lead the team responsible for ATE test program development and characterization for NPI and pass to High Volume Manufacturing
  • Drive test development projects, including DFT structural tests, IP-level test, functional tests, memory and logic repair, and eFuse programming
  • Develop and execute strategies for SoC Product NPI, bring-up, verification, characterization, and qualification support
  • Provide support for production, including test program upgrade and release, volume data analytics, test time reduction and yield improvement, and RMA analysis

Requirements For Test Engineering Team Lead

Python
  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • 8 years of experience in test engineering or product engineering
  • Experience developing, debugging, and bringing up tests on Advantest equipment for High-Performance Computing (HPC) products in NPI or HVM environments
  • Experience leading and managing people or projects
