As a Thermal Test Engineer, you'll be responsible for designing and evaluating data center systems, working with various cooling technologies, and developing test strategies. You'll collaborate with the Thermal Product Design team to create test plans, develop fixtures, and analyze thermal performance of hardware systems.
The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field, with 2 years of experience in thermal design/test environments. Strong technical skills in Linux and scripting are essential, as is experience with hyperscale air/liquid cooled data center environments.
Key responsibilities include characterizing thermal performance of server/rack designs, executing test plans, troubleshooting systems, and maintaining lab equipment. You'll work with various tools and technologies, from heat sinks and thermal interface materials to Linux systems and Python scripting.
