UX Engineer, Corp Eng Vision and Strategy

Google's UX Engineers are versatile professionals who play a crucial role in driving progress and vision for design teams. They work across disciplines to develop products and prototypes that bring new ideas to life. As part of the Google User Experience (UX) team, UX Engineers collaborate closely with UX Designers, Researchers, Writers, Content Strategists, Program Managers, and Engineers to create industry-leading products.

In this role, you will support the Corp Eng Vision and Strategy team by building prototypes that transform ideas into tangible realities. You'll create artifacts that serve as focal points, aligning and testing hypotheses to explore and validate concepts at scale, steering towards a successful future.

Corp Eng is Google's IT organization, responsible for building world-leading business solutions that scale a more helpful Google for everyone. They provide end-to-end solutions for organizations across Google, delivering the right tools, platforms, and experiences for all Googlers as they create more helpful products and services for everyone.

As a UX Engineer, you'll work in a challenging, fast-paced environment, demonstrating your creativity, analytical skills, and knowledge of user-facing technologies. Your responsibilities will include creating prototypes to identify the best product experiences, launching innovative features, building tools that accelerate UX teams, bridging design and engineering discussions, and enabling efficient, high-quality execution.

This role requires a blend of technical skills, design sensibility, and collaboration abilities. You'll need to be proficient in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with experience in front-end development frameworks like Angular and React. The ideal candidate will have experience as a UX Engineer or front-end developer, focused on application development for employee (or client) workflows.
