UX Engineer, Google Workspace

Google is seeking a UX Engineer for their Google Workspace team to bridge the gap between UX design and frontend implementation. This role is part of Google's User Experience (UX) team, a multi-disciplinary group comprising UX Designers, Researchers, Writers, Content Strategists, Program Managers, and Engineers. The position requires a unique blend of technical expertise in frontend development and understanding of user experience principles.

The ideal candidate will work on creating and maintaining UI components, ensuring high accessibility standards, and collaborating closely with Product, UX, and Engineering teams. With 4 years of required experience in front-end development, technical UX design, or prototyping, you'll be responsible for transforming UX specifications into performant UI components that serve millions of users globally.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to impact Google's products that shape how users experience the web. You'll be working in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high-quality standards. The position comes with competitive compensation including a base salary range of $129,000-$185,000, plus bonus, equity, and comprehensive benefits.

The role requires strong technical skills in JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS, with preferred experience in Mobile UI development, Web UI performance, animation, and AI-powered experiences.
