Description For Vendor Operations Manager, Content Service Delivery

Google's Trust & Safety team is seeking a Vendor Operations Manager to drive operational excellence in content service delivery. This role is crucial in protecting users and partners from abuse across Google products including Search, Maps, Gmail, and Google Ads. The position involves managing vendor relationships, ensuring SLA compliance, and implementing process improvements. As part of Google's abuse-fighting experts, you'll work with a diverse team of Analysts, Policy Specialists, Engineers, and Program Managers to reduce risk and fight abuse across all Google products. The role requires strong analytical skills, vendor management expertise, and the ability to work cross-functionally with global teams. You'll be responsible for overseeing vendor networks, managing performance metrics, and driving continuous improvement in operations. Responsibilities For Vendor Operations Manager, Content Service Delivery

  • Oversee a large vendor network distributed across different suppliers and sites
  • Own and manage the relationships with suppliers and internal teams to ensure high-quality output
  • Evaluate vendor performance against key metrics and SLAs
  • Collaborate with stakeholders internally and externally to Trust & Safety across Product, Policy and Engineering teams
  • Identify process, tools, data and metrics improvements

Requirements For Vendor Operations Manager, Content Service Delivery

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 2 years of experience in operations or business management, and vendor management
  • 2 years of experience using analytics or applying project management tools to address business issues
  • Experience working with dashboards and data
  • Ability to manage multiple conflicting priorities and stakeholder issues/requirements
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent communication skills
