Description For Web Solutions Engineer, Distribution, gTech Users and Products

Google's gTech Users and Products (gUP) division is seeking a Web Solutions Engineer to join their team focused on creating helpful and trusted experiences across Google's product ecosystem. This role combines full-stack development with user advocacy, requiring 4 years of experience in software development and system design. The position offers a competitive salary range of $120,000-$176,000 plus comprehensive benefits.

The role involves designing and developing functionality to support Distribution and partner needs, working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. You'll be responsible for scaling platforms while maintaining service level objectives, improving architecture resilience, and actively participating in feature planning.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both backend (Java, Python) and frontend (JavaScript, TypeScript) development, along with experience in database technologies. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field is required, with a Master's degree being preferred.
