Description For Workspace Cloud Architect

Google Cloud Professional Services team is seeking a Workspace Cloud Architect to guide enterprise clients in implementing and adopting Google Workspace solutions. This role combines technical expertise with customer-facing responsibilities, requiring deep knowledge of Google Workspace solutions and cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience with Google Workspace and strong project management skills.

As a Workspace Cloud Architect, you'll be instrumental in helping businesses transform through Google's global network and infrastructure. You'll work directly with enterprise clients, providing technical guidance on deployment, configuration, and management of Google Workspace products. The role involves collaborating with geographically dispersed teams and requires expertise in cloud security, identity management, and various programming languages.

Responsibilities For Workspace Cloud Architect

  • Design, develop, and maintain Google Workspace solutions for our customers
  • Work with customer technical leads, architects, and partners to plan and deliver successful implementations
  • Work with geographically dispersed internal teams including specialists and tech experts
  • Collaborate on customer-facing deployment and migration projects

Requirements For Workspace Cloud Architect

Java
Python
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
  • 5 years of experience with Google Workspace solutions
  • 4 years of experience in project management and technical solution delivery
  • Experience in networking, compute infrastructure and architecting cloud solutions
  • Experience in working with and promoting SaaS, IaaS, or PaaS platforms
  • Experience with cloud security, including IAM, SSO, OAuth and 2-step verification
  • Experience with programming languages such as Java, Python, AppScript, and Shell
  • Excellent communication, writing, presentation, and problem-solving skills
