Google's Raxium display group is at the forefront of revolutionary semiconductor materials display technology, focusing on next-generation display solutions for augmented reality (AR) and light-field applications. As a Yield Integration Engineer, you'll join a diverse team pushing boundaries in custom silicon solutions that power Google's direct-to-consumer products. The role combines technical leadership with hands-on experience in semiconductor fabrication and yield optimization.

Working from their state-of-the-art compound semiconductor fab in Silicon Valley, you'll be responsible for investigating yield loss causes and leading cross-functional teams to drive yield improvement. The role offers competitive compensation including a base salary range of $168,000-$252,000, plus bonus, equity, and comprehensive benefits. Responsibilities For Yield Integration Engineer

  • Assess yield performance throughout the manufacturing process and establish failure paretos
  • Utilize statistical analysis and failure analysis methods to identify root causes of yield loss
  • Collaborate with and lead cross-functional teams to develop, implement, and maintain yield improvement plans and strategies
  • Drive optimization of process specifications, tools, and binning strategies to maximize yield outputs while optimizing for cost and operations
  • Build correlations between inline monitors and test results to enable excursion detection and screening

Requirements For Yield Integration Engineer

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 6 years of experience working in a hardware technical environment, or 5 years of experience with an advanced degree
  • 3 years of experience in technical leadership
  • Experience with yield analysis and optimization
  • Experience with microelectronics fabrication
  • Experience with semiconductors
