Senior Software Engineer - Cloud Engineering

Gopuff is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their Cloud Engineering team. This role focuses on DevOps and requires creating innovative solutions to optimize routing systems, enhance customer experience, and design efficient warehouse management systems. The ideal candidate will build and improve automation at the intersection of infrastructure and application.

Key responsibilities include:

• Engaging in the full application lifecycle from design to refinement
• Supporting applications pre-launch through system design, platform development, and launch reviews
• Maintaining live applications by monitoring system health
• Creating tools for seamless integration of services like Azure, Grafana, Prometheus, and PagerDuty
• Scaling systems through automation and improving reliability and velocity
• Identifying and building solutions to raise quality across a 200+ engineer organization

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• 6+ years of production experience
• Proficiency in languages like Python, Java, Go, C/C++, and JavaScript
• Experience with Terraform, Docker, and Kubernetes
• Strong knowledge of UNIX, TCP/IP, and HTTP fundamentals
• Experience in building secure, highly available systems
• Expertise in Security Architecture, automation, and CI/CD deployment
