Senior Back-End Engineer, Data Streaming

Gorgias, a leading conversational AI platform for ecommerce, is seeking a Senior Back-End Engineer to join their Streaming Team. This role is crucial in powering their platform that supports over 15,000 ecommerce brands and 100+ engineers. The position offers an opportunity to work with advanced messaging and streaming systems, including Kafka, Flink, and RabbitMQ.

As part of a tight-knit team of four, you'll have significant autonomy to shape the roadmap and deliver impactful projects. The role involves improving system reliability, leading migration projects, and building self-service tools that enhance engineer productivity. You'll be at the forefront of major initiatives, including the transition from monolith to microservices and on-premise to cloud infrastructure.

The ideal candidate brings 6 years of Python experience and deep expertise in messaging systems and infrastructure engineering. You'll need strong skills in Kubernetes, database management, and a proven track record of managing live system migrations.
