Senior Machine Learning Engineer

Gorgias, the #1 CX platform in the ecommerce industry, is seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to join their Machine Learning team. As part of this team, you'll play a crucial role in developing, refining, and enabling their AI Agent, designed to automatically address and resolve shopper requests for merchant clients. You'll work on optimizing and implementing solutions that enhance the efficiency, accuracy, and functionality of AI-driven customer support, marketing, and phone solutions.

Key responsibilities include:

• Owning the feedback, observability, and continuous training of deployed ML solutions/models
• Working on Generative Agents, Recommender systems, and Knowledge graphs
• Solving product-facing problems with classical NLP and/or LLMs
• Building clear tech specs and implementing scalable solutions
• Maintaining services and cron jobs
• Owning the development life cycle
• Collaborating in a cross-functional team
• Maintaining the ML team data pipeline
• Analyzing post-release performances and identifying improvement paths

The ideal candidate should have:

• 5 years of proven track record in Machine Learning, software design, and API development
• Proficiency in Python and familiarity with GCP
• Excellent communication skills in English
• Masters degree in STEM or a related field
