Gorilla Logic is seeking a Senior QA Manual Engineer to join their team in a remote capacity. The ideal candidate will be responsible for comprehensive test planning, execution, and management of testing activities across multiple products. They will work closely with developers, product owners, and scrum masters in an Agile environment.
The position requires strong technical expertise in web-based testing, REST services testing using tools like Postman, and familiarity with web technologies including HTML, JavaScript, and AJAX. The successful candidate will need to demonstrate proficiency in both functional and non-functional testing, with the ability to develop and execute test plans, cases, and scripts effectively.
Key qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, ISTQB Foundation Certification, and at least 5 years of experience in Manual QA Testing. Responsibilities For Senior QA Manual Engineer - GP
- Test planning, documentation, coordinating, and executing testing activities
- Reviewing and analyzing system specifications, including acceptance criteria
- Develop manual test plans, test cases, test scripts and test reports
- Perform manual testing for usability and functionality on multiple products
- Build and perform manual regression test to validate releases
- Managing the overall testing strategy and approach
- Help to troubleshoot issues, identify, and log bug defects
- Assist in scoping, planning and scheduling test activities
- Review and validate software requirements and functional design specifications
- Work with Developers, Product Owner and Scrum Masters to solve any issues
Requirements For Senior QA Manual Engineer - GP
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience as a Manual QA Tester (Web based testing)
- Strong knowledge of Quality Assurance methodologies and testing management tools
- Experience in functional and non-functional testing
- Experience with tools to manually test REST services such as Postman or Curl
- Familiar with web product interactions such at HTML, JavaScript, AJAX
- Working knowledge of SFTP and PuTTy in test cases
- Must be detail oriented and a passion for QA testing
- Must have the ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills and experience as an Agile team member
- ISTQB Foundation Certification
