As a Data Engineer, you'll be instrumental in developing and maintaining the company's data infrastructure, designing large-scale data pipelines, and implementing high-quality engineering practices. The role combines hands-on technical work with cross-functional collaboration, requiring expertise in Python, cloud technologies, and modern data engineering tools.

You'll work in a hybrid environment, collaborating with teams primarily based in Antwerp, with flexibility to work remotely 3-4 days per week. The position offers the opportunity to directly impact the evolution of energy retail software and data infrastructure, while working with talented and opinionated professionals who are passionate about driving the company's vision forward.

Responsibilities For Data Engineer

  • Design and optimize ETL pipelines and streaming solutions for processing terabytes of data
  • Develop and maintain data systems in cloud environments
  • Work closely with engineering, product, and business stakeholders
  • Implement and manage workflow tools to automate data dependencies
  • Design systems for high availability, low latency, and scalability
  • Modernize existing infrastructure and improve maintainability
  • Create comprehensive documentation for systems and processes

  • Proven experience in data engineering and building robust data pipelines
