Sr. Software Engineer (iOS) - Engineering Platform

We are seeking a Senior iOS Engineer to join our Engineering Platform team at GoTo Group. This role focuses on tackling engineering challenges such as app performance, platform tooling, and building internal frameworks for code reuse. The ideal candidate has experience working on large codebases in distributed teams and enjoys evangelizing engineering ideas.

Key Responsibilities:

• Automate mechanisms to ensure app performance meets internal standards
• Build tools to enhance mobile engineers' development experience and productivity
• Create dashboards and alerting systems for mobile app performance
• Foster a quality-focused development culture
• Develop and maintain SDKs for networking, logging, and other common solutions
• Evaluate and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
• Create clear and insightful documentation, including guidelines and best practices

Requirements:

• 4+ years of mobile engineering experience, primarily with iOS
• Experience with projects involving collaboration across multiple teams
• Strong technical decision-making skills and ability to manage impediments
• Expertise in architectural approaches, testing, and performance for mobile apps
• Passion for building scalable and composable systems
• Focus on writing readable code rather than over-engineering
• Excellent communication skills to express ideas and build consensus
