Senior DevOps Engineer

Gracenote, Nielsen's content business unit, is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join their dynamic team. As a global leader in entertainment data and services, Gracenote powers major streaming platforms, cable and satellite TV providers, and media companies across 80+ countries.

The role focuses on developing and maintaining sophisticated SaaS/PaaS platforms utilizing cutting-edge technologies like Kubernetes, Trino, Spark, and Airflow. You'll be responsible for ensuring platform reliability through SRE best practices and working with various teams to drive DevOps adoption.

This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a vast technology stack and impact global entertainment metadata solutions covering 100K+ channels, 70+ sports, and 100M+ music tracks across 35 languages. You'll be instrumental in building and maintaining the infrastructure that powers personalized content discovery for millions of users worldwide.

The ideal candidate brings 6+ years of experience with strong expertise in DevOps practices, container technologies, and cloud services. You'll need proficiency in SQL, Python/Bash scripting, and various DevOps tools like Terraform and Ansible. This role combines technical expertise with collaborative skills, as you'll be both implementing solutions and advocating for DevOps best practices across teams.
