Backend Engineer - Platform Productivity

Grafana Labs is seeking a Backend Engineer for their Platform Productivity squad, focusing on helping internal engineers release software onto their infrastructure securely and efficiently. The role involves working with the platform that moves millions of metrics, log lines, and traces per second for their customers. The Platform Productivity squad is responsible for automating release processes, implementing 'golden path' techniques, and supporting internal engineering teams.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable in a remote-first environment, passionate about performance and reliability, and enjoy taking projects from conception to production. You'll work with Go as the primary language, though flexibility in choosing the right tools is valued. Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and Infrastructure as Code is essential.

The role involves participating in on-call rotations, contributing to roadmap planning, and working on exciting projects like next-gen CI/CD systems and security automation. You'll be part of a team that supports some of the most widely used observability tools, including Grafana, Mimir, Loki, and Tempo.
