Description For Community Manager

Grafana Labs is seeking an enthusiastic Community Manager to join their Developer Relations (DevRel) team, focusing on supporting the Grafana Champions program. This remote position is open to candidates in Spain only. The role involves fostering advocacy, engaging with champions, optimizing the program, collaborating across teams, and driving community outreach and growth.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Identifying and cultivating advocates within the Grafana community
  • Building relationships with existing Champions and ensuring they feel valued
  • Gathering community data and feedback to improve the Champions program
  • Collaborating with DevRel, product teams, and other internal groups
  • Engaging across various community channels to identify new advocates

The ideal candidate should have:

  • 2+ years in community management, program management, or a related field
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Familiarity with Developer Relations and open-source ecosystems
  • Experience with community platforms like Discourse, Slack, and GitHub

Nice-to-have skills include experience with developer communities and familiarity with Grafana or other open-source monitoring tools.
