Developer Advocate

Grafana Labs, the company behind the popular open-source visualization tool used by over 20M users globally, is seeking a Developer Advocate to join their R&D organization. This remote position offers an exciting opportunity to work at the intersection of technology and community building.

The role is deeply rooted in Grafana's open-source DNA, where you'll be advocating for and nurturing a vibrant developer community. As a Developer Advocate, you'll be primarily responsible for educating developers and SREs about Grafana's capabilities, from basic dashboards to complex APIs and plugins. You'll create technical content, participate in events, author blog posts, and appear in videos to help users understand and leverage Grafana's observability solutions.

The position requires a strong technical background, preferably with experience in observability, telemetry, or distributed systems. You'll work alongside product managers and engineers in an all-remote team environment, focusing on making users successful through education and community engagement. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and open-source communities like Kubernetes or Prometheus is highly valued.

This role offers competitive compensation ranging from $157,549 to $189,059 USD, plus equity and additional benefits.
