Senior Backend Engineer

Grafana Labs is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer for their Partner Data Sources squad. This remote position is crucial for developing data source plugins that connect Grafana to various cloud services and software vendors. The role involves working on both backend and frontend code, collaborating with external partners, and contributing to the scalability and multi-tenancy of Grafana's architecture.

Key responsibilities include:

• Developing and maintaining data source plugins
• Collaborating with cloud service providers and software vendors
• Supporting the deployment and operations of data sources on Grafana Cloud
• Participating in design discussions and mentoring team members
• Managing external stakeholder relationships
• Providing technical assistance in customer support escalations

The ideal candidate should have:

• Experience with remote work and strong communication skills
• Proficiency in Golang or comparable programming languages
• Professional experience with Microsoft Azure and/or Google Cloud
• Familiarity with DevOps principles and software observability
• Ability to work on both backend and frontend code
• Experience writing clean, robust, and performant software
