Senior Backend Engineer - Grafana IRM

Grafana Labs is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to join their IRM (Incident Response Management) team, focusing on their suite of incident management solutions including OnCall Cloud and Incident Cloud offerings. This remote position is specifically for candidates in EMEA time zones. The role involves working with a cross-functional team to develop and enhance incident management solutions that serve over 20M users globally.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable in a remote-first environment and have strong experience with either Golang or Python. You'll be working on complex solutions that directly impact the daily workflows of technical users worldwide. The role requires a balance of technical expertise and collaborative skills, as you'll be contributing to both the codebase and team direction.

Key technical aspects include working with cloud technologies, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and various backend services. The team values code quality, maintainability, and testing, while emphasizing a strong focus on user experience. You'll participate in on-call rotations and have the opportunity to interact with both internal teams and the broader Grafana community.
