Senior Software Engineer

Grafana Labs is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their team in transforming Grafana into a multi-tenant, scalable observability app platform. The role involves refactoring a significant portion of Grafana to make it simpler and standardized, while ensuring safe rollout of changes to avoid service disruptions.

Key responsibilities include:

• Coding new features and enhancing operational experience
• Authoring and reviewing design documents
• Shaping the roadmap
• Mentoring team members and cross-team collaboration
• Participating in on-call rotations

The ideal candidate should have:

• Strong coding skills and operational experience
• Experience with SaaS platforms and distributed systems
• Excellent communication skills
• Willingness to work across teams
• Pragmatic approach to problem-solving
• Familiarity with or excitement to learn Golang
