Solutions Engineer

Grafana Labs, the company behind the widely-used open source visualization tool with over 20M users globally, is seeking a Solutions Engineer to join their customer-facing technical team. This role represents a unique opportunity to work with a leader in the observability space, whose technology is used by major companies like Bloomberg, JPMorgan Chase, and eBay.

As a Solutions Engineer, you'll be the bridge between Grafana Labs' engineering team, customers, and sales organization. Your primary mission will be to help drive the company's worldwide growth by sharing technical and product expertise through demonstrations, enablement sessions, and technical evaluations. You'll work closely with the sales team to qualify and close opportunities while ensuring customer success with Grafana's technology stack.

The role demands a unique blend of technical expertise and customer-facing skills. You'll need to excel at understanding customer requirements and translating them into effective solutions using Grafana Labs' technology. This position offers the chance to work with cutting-edge observability tools including the Grafana LGTM Stack, which encompasses metrics (Grafana Mimir), logs (Grafana Loki), and traces (Grafana Tempo).

The ideal candidate will bring 5+ years of technical pre-sales experience, preferably in open source technologies or the metrics/monitoring space. You'll need exceptional communication skills to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences and collaborate effectively in a remote-first environment.
