Description For Product Engineer

Granola is seeking a self-starting Product Engineer to join their founding team in London. This role focuses on building products in a fast-paced, iterative environment, specifically working with LLMs to enhance user value. The ideal candidate will be directly involved in user interaction, feature development, and scaling the application for the next 100x users.

The position offers an exciting opportunity to work at the forefront of AI tool development, with the company drawing parallels to the revolutionary period of Engelbart's demo in 1968. As part of the founding team, you'll have the chance to shape the future of the product while working in-person from their London office.

The role requires a strong technical background in TypeScript, Node.js, and React.js, along with experience in database management and cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate should be a builder at heart, comfortable with startup environments, and align with the company's values of kindness, ambition, and pragmatism.

Granola offers competitive compensation, with above-market salary and equity packages. They emphasize their commitment to diversity, welcoming talented individuals from all backgrounds and experiences. The position provides an opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology while directly impacting the product's development and user experience.

Working in-person from their London office, you'll be part of a cross-functional team developing features like image support for their text editor, multiplayer features, and integrations with other tools. The role combines technical expertise with user-centered design thinking, making it ideal for engineers who enjoy both building and user interaction.
