Hardware Development Engineer

Graphcore, a leading AI compute hardware and software company backed by SoftBank Group, is revolutionizing artificial intelligence compute systems. As a Hardware Development Engineer, you'll join their Hardware Engineering Team in Bristol, creating both production systems and hardware test & validation systems based on Graphcore's IPU processor.

The role involves deep collaboration with Silicon, Architecture, and Software Teams to analyze system requirements and design circuit solutions. You'll be responsible for generating schematics, PCB layout constraints, and working closely with the PCB CAD team. Your expertise in microprocessor system design and debug will be crucial, particularly in areas like processor power supply, reset & clocking requirements, memory, and various communication interfaces.
