This role involves working closely with Design and Test Engineering teams, Quality, and Supply Chain Management to support new product introduction and volume production. The position offers an opportunity to work on cutting-edge AI hardware, collaborating with teams across Bristol, Cambridge, and Taiwan. Responsibilities For Manufacturing Product Engineer
- Input into hardware design to ensure good manufacturability
- Understand contract manufacturer capabilities and align with hardware design
- Investigate and develop new technologies for next generation products
- Drive yield improvement roadmap with quality team
- Manage external engineering relationships during NPI and early volume manufacture
- Provide expert support in volume manufacture
- Drive data analysis methods for production data
- Work with product engineering for system quality improvements
- Support customer engagements
Requirements For Manufacturing Product Engineer
- Strong fault diagnosis and problem solving skills
- Understanding of PCB assembly processes and lean methodologies
- Knowledge of L10 mechanical design and system build
- Understanding of manufacturing execution systems
- Knowledge of silicon, package and PCB interactions
- Experience with continuous improvement methodologies
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Experience working with semiconductor supply chain suppliers
