Senior Cloud Development Engineer

Graphcore, a pioneering company in AI compute hardware and software backed by SoftBank Group, is seeking a Senior Cloud Development Engineer to join their Platform Engineering organization. The position involves working within the Cloud Development Team, collaborating closely with Platform Engineering, Datacentre Operations, and Product Development teams. You'll be responsible for providing services on their fleet of advanced AI systems, including both in-house solutions and high-performance infrastructure.

As a Senior Engineer, you'll be instrumental in cloud integration, validation, performance benchmarking, and optimization of high-performance AI solutions. The role requires expertise in infrastructure management, cloud deployment using Infrastructure-as-Code, and high-performance networking and storage systems.

The Platform Engineering team builds Graphcore products into large-scale AI solutions, with the Cloud Development Team specifically managing private cloud systems for internal users. You'll often work with pre-release hardware and software, providing a unique opportunity to influence the development of next-generation AI compute systems.

The ideal candidate should bring strong Linux system administration skills, cloud services expertise, and experience with modern DevOps tools including Docker/Kubernetes.
