Senior Backend Software Engineer

As a Senior Backend Engineer, you'll join a tight-knit engineering team focused on solving real problems in the construction permitting and plan review space.

The role requires being based in the New York Metro area with a hybrid work schedule (3 days in office). You'll be instrumental in designing and developing scalable backend services that power GreenLite's products, taking full ownership of features in a fast-paced environment. The position offers an opportunity to make tangible impact while working with modern technology stack and PostgreSQL databases.

The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of backend development experience and excels in system design, architectural decisions, and coding standards implementation. You'll be working on mission-critical systems that help streamline the construction permitting process, contributing to solving the housing crisis in America.
