Description For Jr. Testing Engineer

Greentank is seeking a Jr. Testing Engineer to join their team in a hybrid work environment. This role focuses on ensuring product quality through comprehensive testing processes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and analyzing testing procedures while managing test samples and equipment. They will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to develop new testing methods and improve existing ones. Responsibilities For Jr. Testing Engineer

  • Managing cross-team coordination tasks for testing requirements and timelines
  • Tracking sample progress and availability
  • Defining test plans and methods
  • Preparing, executing, recording, and summarizing tests
  • Analyzing test data and providing insights
  • Writing and presenting test reports
  • Managing test samples and equipment
  • Performing equipment maintenance and repairs
  • Developing new testing methods and processes
  • Creating mock-up samples and disassembling for analysis
  • Preparing technical documentation
  • Assisting in managing and training interns

Requirements For Jr. Testing Engineer

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or relevant field
  • Knowledge of basic electrical engineering, thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, and mechanics
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel
  • Experience with basic hardware tools
  • Experience with MiniTab (asset)
  • Knowledge of Six Sigma methodologies (asset)
  • 1-2 years of manufacturing industry experience (asset)
