You'll be responsible for developing and implementing test systems, optimizing manufacturing processes, and serving as the final authority for firmware releases. Responsibilities For Embedded Test Engineer
- Design and implement automated and manual test systems for manufacturing processes
- Develop and maintain test procedures, fixtures, and equipment
- Analyze test data to identify trends and improvements
- Investigate test failures and resolve issues
- Provide training and support to production staff
- Serve as release engineer for firmware
- Work with design engineers on Design for Testability strategies
- Coordinate with quality and production teams
- Work with contract manufacturer on testing and debugging
Requirements For Embedded Test Engineer
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Computer Science, or computer engineering
- 2-5 years of experience in manufacturing testing
- At least 2 years of coding in a high level language, ideally Python
- Proficiency in test equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, data acquisition systems)
- Experience with automated test software
- Familiarity with statistical analysis tools and methods
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Experience with PCB testing, RF testing (preferred)
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles (preferred)
